Picade console software - curl command

Have a problem installing the software drivers for the picade console both the following commands
curl -sS https://get.pimoroni.com/picadehat | bash and
curl https:get.pimoroni.com/picadehat | bash

in both cases I get a curl 60 error -

cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired (see curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)

I have tried a number of options but none solve the problem.

This is happening on a build which was working but rebuild for my grandson.

Any advice how to solve this.
