I finished building my picade. I installed the drivers for the hat. When I come to the game controller configuration screen. All my buttons work! 3 directions of my Joystick work. The only direction that doesnt work is ‘up’. I have read that the inverse of this is common and you need to flip the joystick connection which I have tried … that only makes the whole joystick non functional. I rechecked the connections. these are simple plugs so they look securely in place. Do i have a faulty joystick or connector?
*edit - I can get the up to work by holding my finger on the joystick connector and firmly pushing up or down… it doesn’t stay put … should i gently bend this connector?
